ASUS Unveils ROG Strix Scope RX Gaming Keyboard with Unique Mechanism

ASUS's ROG gaming division has unveiled the new Strix Scope RX gaming keyboard. The new product has received unique optical-mechanical switches with a response speed of 1 millisecond. In addition, the manufacturer has equipped the keyboard with a special stabilization system and protected it from water and dust. 

The ROG Strix Scope RX features premium ROG RX Red optical-mechanical switches. Each keycap is mounted on a hollow square base with built-in RGB LEDs, allowing the key to be illuminated from all directions. The special design of the switches ensures a minimum response delay. The square shape of the key base and the special stabilization mechanism ensures precise actuation and eliminate key shake. According to the manufacturer, the switches last up to 100 million clicks.  

With the new Strix Scope RX, ROG engineers retain all the benefits of the predecessor model with ROG RX Red optical-mechanical switches. When developing the keyboard, the company's designers and designers watched first-person shooters gameplay of professional players. As a result, it was decided to double the width of the Ctrl key, so that it would be more convenient to hit it in the midst of a battle.  

A special Stealth key with a person in a raincoat depicted on it serves to preserve the user's privacy. When you click it, all Windows with open applications are instantly minimized, and the sound is turned off. Clicking again returns everything to its previous state.

The keys in the top row of the keyboard can be used both as function keys and as multimedia keys: you can switch between these modes instantly using a special key combination. The ROG Strix Scope RX keyboard has a USB 2.0 port, which you can connect a mouse, a mobile gadget for charging, or another peripheral device, such as a USB drive.

The ROG Strix Scope RX keyboard is well protected from dirt and accidentally spilled liquid. In terms of water and dust resistance, it meets the IP56 standard. For additional reliability and rigidity, the top panel of the keyboard is made of durable aluminum alloy.
