Nokia introduced affordable 4K TVs and Android 10 set-top box
Nokia continues to expand the range of Android TVs in the mid-budget and budget segments, introducing several new products. Most of them received support for 4K and HDR. Along with them, the brand also released the Streaming Box 8000 set-top box running Android 10.
Among the new products were several models of TVs with diagonals from 43 to 75 inches. All of them are equipped with LCD-matrices with 4K resolution and support for HDR technology. Devices running on the Android TV operating system with the Google Play application store. The kit includes a remote control with a shortcut key for the voice assistant "Google Assistant".
Nokia emphasizes that all devices are positioned as affordable. The refresh rate of the matrix TVs is 60 Hz with a response time of up to 9.5 milliseconds. Four HDMI are offered as connection ports at once. For users interested in buying the most affordable TV, the company has prepared a 32-inch Full HD 3200A model with three HDMI outputs and HDR support. It is noteworthy that the entire line can be controlled from a smartphone.
Another new product is the Streaming Box 8000 set-top box running Android 10. It provides 4K content playback and is suitable for TV owners who want to expand their basic capabilities. The device is compatible with the Google voice assistant, which can be called using the included remote control.
The price of the Streaming Box 8000 in Europe is €99. The manufacturer has not yet disclosed the cost of new TVs.
