Google AdWords is a contextual search advertising system developed by Google. The system offers the user an intuitive interface, as well as various tools for creating more effective advertisements.

Advertising in Google AdWords is carried out in a few simple stages and takes no more than half an hour.

  • The advertiser needs to create a Google AdWords account: you must specify the email address and password of the universal Google account (you can use mail and other services).
  • Google AdWords offers a choice of the target audience. For optimal targeting, you must specify the location of the target audience (up to the city), language, approximate age, and gender.
  • The user is asked to specify the budget for the upcoming advertising campaign.
  • On the fourth step, you need to select the price of one click on the ad. If the advertiser chooses automatic mode, then based on the specified upper limit, the service itself sets the minimum cost per click to display the message in the best position. However, keep in mind that in this case, the actual click price will be lower than the maximum value and will never exceed it.
  • Next, it is possible to create a group of advertising messages. This feature can combine different types of ads, provided that they advertise the same service or product. The service also identifies effective combinations of these ads.
  • The advertiser creates an advertising message. To do this, you need to specify the title, a brief description, and the URL of the page that will be followed after clicking on the ad. Do not forget about some restrictions. So, the title can contain no more than 25 characters, and the text - no more than two lines of 35 characters.
  • After that, you need to specify the keywords for which the search engine will display the advertising messages. You can use the built-in tool to get recommended keywords, analyze their popularity, and sort them.
  • In the eighth step, alternative versions of ads are made if desired. Google AdWords analyzes and highlights more effective ones.
  • At the end of the process, the advertiser is asked to select a payment method. The set is quite standard: Visa and MasterCard credit cards, bank transfer. For Russian users, in addition to the above methods, Yandex.Money and Webmoney are available.

As soon as you complete these nine steps, the ad will be moderated. If confirmed, the advertiser is charged a sum of money and the ad appears on the Internet.

Do not forget that there are certain rules regarding the site description for advertising messages. The user can also change keywords at any time and reduce prices for impressions and clicks on ads.

You can use both the built-in tool and Google Analytics to collect statistics.
